Validation Letters

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 23, 2026.

The Short Version

Nothing you type into the letter generator is sent anywhere. This site makes zero outbound network requests at runtime — no analytics, no third-party scripts, no embedded fonts loaded from someone else's server, nothing. There's no account to create, no email address to give, and no paid tier, so there's nothing collected in exchange for using it.

What's Stored on Your Device

The site uses your browser's own local storage — not a cookie, and not anything transmitted to a server — for three things: your light/dark theme choice, your preferred letter text size, and a saved draft of the letter you're writing, so you can pick it up again if you close the tab. All three stay on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes them, and the letter tool itself has a "Start fresh" and a "Clear everything" control that does the same for your draft.

What This Site Does Not Do

It does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind. It does not log what you type into the generator, because that text never leaves your browser to be logged. It does not sell or share data with third parties — there isn't any to sell. It is not affiliated with any government agency or credit bureau, and it does not report anything you enter to a collector, a creditor, or anyone else.

Standard Hosting Logs

Like effectively any website, the static files that make up this site are served by a hosting provider that may keep ordinary technical access logs — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamp — the way most infrastructure does by default. This site's operator does not use those logs to identify or track individual visitors, and no code on this site adds to them beyond what serving a static page already requires.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if what the site does changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. The rules for using the site itself are in the Terms and Conditions; questions about either can go to contact@validationletters.com, described further on the Contact page.
